New Alpha Missionary Baptist Church and the Vermont Racial Justice Alliance will co-host information sessions on safety, efficacy and availability of the COVID-19 vaccine March 24, 2021 at 6:00 PM. Members of the Health Department and the University of Vermont Medical Center will join us to provide information and answer questions on safety, efficacy and availability of the vaccine. New BIPOC Clinic Information
Members of the community who self-identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) AND are currently eligible under the State’s guidelines for the COVID-19 vaccine can now sign up at the new BIPOC Vaccination Clinic. At this clinic, all other household members may also be vaccinated. Further, if the eligible member of your household has already been vaccinated, your household is still eligible to register for this clinic Please note that registration for household members is only available thru special clinics like this and not thru the regular State website at this time – please see the details below for how to register.
Who is Eligible?
All BIPOC individuals who are eligible under the State’s criteria, PLUS their household members, are welcome to come to this clinic. Eligibility criteria include those 65 or older or those with a high risk condition as defined by the State.
Information Needed for Registration:
· Name and date of birth of qualified BIPOC individual
· Names and dates of birth of all household members who want to be vaccinated
· Contact information for the household
· Any language interpretation needs, if needed
You will be asked for more detailed information at the clinic.
